Support Agreements

While we often work on a project or “as needed” basis, some organizations prefer on-going human resource support. Growing organizations, those that lack infrastructure, labor law knowledge, or human resource expertise, often prefer this approach. A Support Agreement might be a good option if you:

  • Consider employees as important as non-human assets;
  • Want to be more informed and pro-active with human resource issues;
  • Want to do the right thing even when you don't like it.

Support Agreements often include:

  • Phone and email support: Guidance regarding HR or employee relations issues.
  • Quarterly on-site support: Meeting with management to address any new laws, assist with recruiting and retention, or review any employee or management issues.
  • Annual compliance audit: A review to ensure compliance with state and federal law; includes a written report of findings and recommendations.
  • Employee handbook development/maintenance: Annually review and update to reflect changes in employment law and company policies.
  • Performance appraisal management: Review performance evaluation policy and forms and conduct training on how to perform evaluations, including proper documentation and potential rewards.
  • Harassment-free Training and/or Leadership Workshops.

Support Agreements are typically an annual arrangement but shorter term agreements may be appropriate. Agreements are custom tailored to your needs and fees depend on scope and employee size.
